From Panama City to Bocas del Toro

• Direct Flight: Air Panama offers daily flights from Marcos A. Gelabert Airport (Albrook) to Isla Colón, Bocas del Toro. The flight takes approximately one hour and is the fastest and most convenient option. You can book your flight at https://www.AirPanama.com.
• Bus and Ferry: From the Albrook Terminal in Panama City, you can take an overnight bus with available departure times at 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm to Almirante (10-12 hours). From there, a taxi will take you to the dock to board a water taxi, which takes about 30 minutes to reach Isla Colón.
• Commercial Shuttles: Hello Travel Panama offers daily shuttle services from Panama City to Bocas del Toro. These shuttles drop you off directly at the docks where you can catch the 30-minute water taxi to Isla Colón.

From Costa Rica to Bocas del Toro

• Flight from San José: There are direct flights from San José, Costa Rica, to Isla Colón in Bocas del Toro, making the trip simple without additional stops.
• Bus and Ferry: From San José, Costa Rica, you can take a bus to the border at Sixaola. After crossing the border, take a taxi or bus to Almirante, and from there, a ferry to Isla Colón.
• Commercial Shuttles from Puerto Viejo: Caribe Shuttle

From Boquete or David to Bocas del Toro

• Commercial Shuttle: Both Hello Travel Panama and Caribe Shuttle offer transportation from Boquete to Bocas del Toro, including the bus ride to Almirante and the ferry to Isla Colón. From David, you can take direct shuttles to Almirante, followed by the ferry to Isla Colón.

• Bus and Ferry: From Boquete, take a bus to David, then another bus from David to Almirante (about 4 hours). In Almirante, a ferry will take you to Isla Colón in approximately 30 minutes.
